At the end of this training program attendees will be able to:

  1. Explain grounding and bonding concepts and terminology consistent with NEC 2026.
  2. Identify and install grounding electrode systems and grounding electrode conductors, including correct sizing and installation location.
  3. Apply bonding requirements at services, separately derived systems, buildings/structures, enclosures, and equipment to ensure an effective fault-current path.
  4. Analyze fault conditions and describe how faults clear (single fault-current path), including coordination with overcurrent devices.
  5. Describe and apply ground-fault protection concepts (GFP/GFCI) and verify functional intent.
