Using infrared technology effectively within a predictive maintenance program is all about gathering the data correctly and then interpretation of the data. In this one-day course, our knowledgeable instructors relate their real world experience to help you learn these valuable techniques, avoid the pitfalls and common mistakes, and create a steep learning curve for you to immediately go back and apply what you have learned.

Understanding plumbing fundamentals is critical for maintaining safe, efficient, and code-compliant plumbing systems. Whether you’re new to the trade or looking to strengthen your team’s expertise, this course provides the essential knowledge and practical skills required for proper installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Many common plumbing issues—leaks, clogs, improper drainage, and system failures—stem from incorrect installations and a lack of understanding of core plumbing principles. This training program addresses these challenges by covering:

  • Plumbing codes and industry standards (UPC, IPC, ADA)
  •  Proper use of tools and materials for installation and repairs
  • Water supply, drainage, venting, and fixture alignment
  • Pipe sizing calculations and troubleshooting techniques

Our 1-day, instructor-led course includes hands-on demonstrations that reinforce learning, ensuring that participants can confidently apply these skills in real-world situations.

Predictive Maintenance (PdM) differs from preventive maintenance in that it is determined by the condition of equipment rather than average or expected life statistics. It attempts to predict failure before it actually happens by monitoring equipment performance during normal operations. Analytic tools are used to identify early stage of deterioration and develop course of action to monitor more frequently or plan and schedule for repair.

Preventive maintenance means fixing small problems before they become big ones. The primary goals of preventive maintenance programs are to a) maximize an asset’s useful life and b) avoid unplanned downtimes.

This interactive workshop teaches the participant the practical HOW‐TOs and WHY to creating and improving a preventative maintenance program at their site. The workshop starts with foundational theory needed to then advance to evaluating the participant’s needs based on equipment types and operational processes using templates that can be repeatedly applied. Participants will leave having started and be able to complete the design of a preventative maintenance program for their work site.

The Bearings and Lubrication Principles course gives you the knowledge and techniques to significantly reduce operating and energy costs and extend the life of your rotating equipment. In addition to bearings and lubrication this course also covers basic coupling systems and shaft alignment.

Learn the different bearing and coupling systems, including their function, load tolerance and operating characteristics. The lubrication chapter will present industry test methods used to define various lubricant characteristics, lubrication chemistry and proper application methods. This course will help anyone who has to specify, purchase, install, maintain or repair bearing and coupling systems.

Proper alignment of rotating machinery can help cut your energy costs and increase the “in-production” time of your equipment. Take this shaft alignment training to lower your maintenance costs and increase the bearing life.

Workers in our shaft alignment training learn to identify the symptoms of misaligned rotating machinery. Then, you will practice using the proper tools to correct a multitude of issues ranging from piping induced stress to soft foot to run out.

Optional: Combine Laser and computer software technology with your hands-on skills to help with shaft alignment.
