Why You should take this training program
The NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety requires retraining in safety-related work practices and the applicable changes in the standard at least every 3 years. This training fulfills this requirement in an efficient 4-hour format. Retraining is required for any workers who are exposed to the electrical hazards of shock or arc flash.
The NTT pocket-sized accordion style Job Aid is provided to each attendee and used in the class for reviewing safety-related work practices. The Job aid can easily be carried in the field to help ensure safe work practices when performing electrical work.
In addition to this retraining requirement, employers are required to audit the company’s electrical safety program every three years to ensure it complies with the most current NFPA 70E standard. The arc flash analysis must be reviewed every five years and the electrical hazardous energy control program must be audited every year.
