Effective Collaboration

This module outlines the differences between a positive and negative group climate, and guidelines for effective group discussion (Estimated completion time: 0.8 hours).

Teamwork

This module covers the four life stages of a team, sources of friction, synergy, ground rules, and how to build a cohesive team (Estimated completion time: 0.9 hours).

Meetings

This module outlines ground rules for effective meetings, including the importance of preparation, how to handle difficult personalities, and overcome anxiety associated with leading a meeting (Estimated completion time: 0.8 hours).

Diversity

This module outlines the advantages and disadvantages of diversity, strategies for working in a diverse group, and ways to overcome language barriers (Estimated completion time: 0.9 hours).

Creativity

This module provides strategies for enhancing creativity, including brainstorming and mind-mapping (Estimated completion time: 0.8 hours).

Problem-Solving

This module outlines problem-solving techniques and how to use both the IDEA and S-T-P methods to solve problems (Estimated completion time: 1 hour).

Decision-Making

This module details strategies for group decision-making, and how to avoid groupthink and reach consensus (Estimated completion time: 1 hour).

Conflict Management

This module outlines strategies for conflict resolution and enhancing collaboration (Estimated completion time: 1.4 hours).

Leadership

Upon completion of this module, you will be able to list ways to develop leadership, identify the traits of successful leaders, and explain how to create a plan and set goals (Estimated completion time: 0.8 hours).

Virtual Groups

After completing this module, you will be able to describe the challenges and benefits associated with virtual group communication, list ways to get the most out of working in a virtual group, explain the guidelines for conducting virtual meetings, and use different types of conferencing tools (Estimated completion time: 1 hour).
